Progetto Fuoco 2022, as in the 2020 edition, accelerates towards the future with the Innovation Village, a set of initiatives to research the best Italian and European technological ideas and solutions in the sector to contribute to the goal of reducing product emissions, improve its efficiency and digitize the sector.
Concrete and indispensable objectives for both the environment and the market. What they have in common is a single feature: the innovation drive.
“Give Me Fire – Progetto Fuoco Startup Award”, the first prize aimed at innovative Italian and European companies in the heating and energy produced from wood sector, promoted by Progetto Fuoco and Blum, in collaboration with Aiel – Italian Association of Agroforestry Energies. The call for the 2022 edition will be aimed at the selection of Italian and foreign startups that deal with products and services with high technological innovation (digitization) and products and services that allow for the reduction of fine dust emissions. The 12 selected start-ups will present their own stand at the Fair within the “Innovation Village” area and will present their products to potential partners and investors.
New to the edition in 2022, however, is the Progetto Fuoco Hackathon, scheduled for Thursday 5 May 2022, a marathon in which young innovators – students, developers, talents – will propose solutions to the problems posed by companies in the sector: in the months preceding the event, three leading companies in the sector (La Nordica-Extraflame, Edilkamin and Palazzetti) will each propose a theme inherent to the sector on which the researchers will have to work: on the basis of the proposed themes, the organization will select the researchers, start uppers, students who will participate in the marathon and will provide them with the appropriate brief.
New this year is the Trend Show, an area that illustrates, with the help of panels, photos and infographics, the main development trends of the sector and the research areas that could have concrete effects on it.
