A passion for work, the relentless determination and a strong desire to develop, handed down from father to son, have turned what was a small craft industry into an advanced business enterprise with a sound reputation in Italy and in the main international markets due to its quality and innovation, values belonging to a solid family tradition.
“My father’s name is Santo Muraro and in 1991 he generated Klover srl starting from a company in the biomass sector”. Thus begins the entrepreneurial history of Mario Muraro, the current owner of the industry of San Bonifacio (Verona).
“During the first ten years it was very difficult to get ahead in a market dominated by big brands; but then in 1999 we invented the Sicuro Top system, a serpentine hydraulic system that keeps at zero water pressure in the boiler, avoiding dangerous increases in pressure. Since then, the wood-fired boilers no longer needed either safety valves or an open expansion tank. The patent presented in 2000 at Progetto Fuoco allowed us to increase our turnover by 20% per year until 2013. After three difficult years, in 2016 I realized that our small company appeared very attractive due to its ability to constantly innovate: so I felt the need to be supported in the design by a very capable with consolidated experience technician, the engineer Gledis Hysenaj”.
A young company, a strength of innovation
“Every designer’s dream – specifies Hysenaj – is to have carte blanche, both in design and in technical expression: and here, working with Mario Muraro who is among the few owners – designers in our sector, I was given the opportunity to express myself 100%. In addition to technologies and products developed in these three years, I also oversaw marketing and production, which are key parts for accompanying the product itself on the market”.
The company is young (average age 35), with entirely in-house production. Technology is the strong point, Muraro continues: “The combination with Gledis proved to be extremely successful, so much that in 2018 in occasion of Progetto Fuoco we exhibited three new patents that had raised the turnover by 31% the year before (2017) and 65% (2018), bringing us a turnover of over 20 million in 2020. In 2018, Klover has also expanded its logistics hub in San Bonifacio. Here the entire production process takes place, up to storage and distribution. The growth of the structure involved the addition of new areas that have increased both the production lines and the warehouse capacity, brining the logistics hub to a total area of 22,000 sqm. This will allow us to respond optimally to an ever-growing demand. Thus began the competition with large industries in the pellet stoves sector. Nowadays we boast a wide Aria and Hydro range, about 106 models, 75% of which updated to the latest technology such as the self-cleaning brazier, automatic pellet dosing and WiFi.
